Job Title: Administrator
Duties and Requirements:
- general knowledge and understanding of the printing industry
- can use Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- the ability to check customers’ designs and artwork and implement required amendments
- will be able to check the knife files and make updates when necessary
- the successful candidate will be required to facilitate the entire production process from receipt of customer order to delivery
- proficient English speaking and writing skills are required to ensure effective communication between our team members, suppliers and customers
Job Title: Die-Cutting Machine Operator
Duties and Requirements:
- able to follow the job instructions for each specific requirement of customers’ orders
- able to set the machinery up to run efficiently and to the timescales required
- maintain clean, safe storage of formes & tooling
- assist other operators and assistants to ensure optimum productivity is maintained
- experience & knowledge of die cutting in carton manufacturing and print finishing
- machinery maintenance, safety and light engineering requirements
- good organisation skills
- good communication skills
- health & hygiene awareness
Job Title: Carton Gluing Machine Assistant
Duties and Requirements:
- assist the machine operator with feeding or taking off cartons
- quality control checking to ensure the product meets the requirements
- complete paperwork and data to the specification required
- good communication skills
- some experience in the industry in a similar role
- communicate in person and on the telephone with colleagues, customers and other visitors in a friendly and positive manner
- to work in accordance with Health and Safety and Hygiene regulations at all times
- to undertake staff training and development to enhance the role and your personal development
- to work in a flexible manner
- to work effectively as part of a team
- to maintain a general level of tidiness in work areas, and ensure punctual time keeping in accordance with contracted hours
Job Title: Carton Gluing Machine Operator
Duties and Requirements:
- responsible for setting up and running machinery and providing instruction to other team members
- responsible for setting up and running machinery to meet the efficiencies and quality required and maintaining production and quality records
- providing instruction to other team members to enable them to run machinery and produce quality products
- to communicate in person and on the telephone with colleagues, customers and other visitors in a friendly and positive manner
- to work in accordance with health and safety and hygiene regulations at all times
- to undertake staff training and development to enhance the role and your personal development
- to work in a flexible manner
- to work effectively as part of a team
- to maintain a general level of tidiness in work areas, and ensure punctual time keeping in accordance with contracted hours
